The StarWalk Returns - Sat 8th May
Join us on our fourth StarWalk and take the first steps to changing a local cancer patient’s life!
Family and friends can take part in this 15km (9.3 miles) ladies only night walk around the historic town of Kendal whilst raising much needed funds for CancerCare.
This year the walk will start at 9pm from Lakes Leisure Centre in Kendal with lots of new attractions within the centre and along the route.
The event generates an electric atmosphere and great camaraderie amongst the walkers in addition to drawing great support from the entire local community.
To date the StarWalk has generated over £250,000 which equates to the entire cost of providing all CancerCare’s services in both centres for over two months.

Please register early, your efforts can make a real difference to our patients and their families who are facing this life threatening disease. With over one in three people being diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime demands on our services are obviously growing, this walk can make a difference and keep our waiting lists down to a minimum.
